Eugenol mitigated acute lung but not spermatic toxicity of C60 fullerene emulsion in mice

C60 fullerene (C60) is a nano-pollutant that can damage the respiratory system. Eugenol exhibits significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. We aimed to investigate time course of emulsion-induced pulmonary spermatic harms, as well effect eugenol on emulsion toxicity. The first group mice (protocol 1) received intratracheally (1.0 mg/kg BW) or vehicle were tested at 12, 24, 72 96 h (F groups) thereafter. second 2) vehicle, 1 later gavaged with (150 mg/kg) experiments done 24 after instillation.
